Since September, I have had the pleasure of working with my intern, Jillian, through the iQuest program at San Ramon Valley High School. She has been invaluable to me–taking photos at fashion events, helping me organize my client contact info, and guiding me through the world of social media. Recently, she accompanied me on a “fashion field trip”, and today, she is my guest blogger. So, it is my pleasure to introduce to you…Jillian Grabenstein:
Last week I was given the opportunity to check out the TART Collection, owned by Jamie and Dana Feingold of Lafayette, at the TART Outlet in Concord. This outlet is the only one TART has and it just so happens to be in the same town as their designer and corporate headquarters. I was excited to explore the clothes at this outlet because they happen to be the same styles that are sold at Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Anthropologie, and many other boutiques. TART’s merchandise is stocked weekly with both current and past season’s collections. As I entered the store, the first thing I noticed was color! Spring dresses and tops were available in different shades of pinks, blues, and greens. The geometric designs on their lounge pants and maxi dresses were fun to play around with. After picking out a few pieces, I noticed how soft the fabric was. The material is perfect for days when you want to be comfy, yet the design keeps you looking on trend. I left TART Outlet with a pair of lace shorts that will be a wardrobe essential for me this spring, but I definitely want to return to stock up on some more spring pieces!
Thanks, Jillian! Great job. TART is a great clothing line for moms and daughters (teenage +)…great for summer travel, beach wear, casual events and MORE. They are located at 2304 Willow Pass Road, in Concord (kitty korner from Q-Zar). And tell them we sent you 🙂
be well. dress well.
