“Las Vegas” and “Style” can be an enormous contradiction in terms! If you’ve been there, you know. Dining in a Five-Star restaurant, cruising through the casinos, and relaxing poolside people are wearing EVERYTHING under the sun. A t-shirt and shorts stands next to a bridal gown, while a too-skimpy party dress hobbles by in too-high stilettos…the best people watching EVER!
I was recently in Las Vegas, and I cannot tell you how many trainwrecks I saw. However, this is not the “Glamour don’ts” blog, and I do not mock people for their choice of outfits…although, sometimes they clearly deserve it. I come from a place of understanding and helpfulness. New Year’s Eve is one of my favorite nights to go out and…PEOPLE WATCH!!! Ringing in 2011 at Blackhawk Museum’s event in Danville did not disappoint. Hundreds of partiers enjoyed cocktails, music and entertainment, while I enjoyed the parade of fashion before my eyes. While there were a tragic number of “trainwrecks” trolling the dance floor, I’m keeping this blog positive, showing how some of the guests looked really great–they worked it, they owned it! And you’ve got to give it to them for that, right?
