Producing fashion events is one of the most fun aspects of my job, so when the folks at The Studio, Danville asked me to coordinate their Spring Social and Fashion Show for members and guests, I jumped at the opportunity. I’m especially excited about the theme…”FABULOUS AFTER FORTY”!
“Is this outfit too young for me?”
“I think I look like my mother!”
“How do I choose which trends are right for me?”
Learn how to solve the challenges that women 40+ face with their wardrobes at a fun and informative fashion event! We’ll talk about tips for dressing appropriately (while still looking youthful and current), and how to down-play your not-so-favorite body parts, while focusing on the parts about which you feel great! We’ll also look at the 2015 spring trends, and discuss how to interpret them into wearable looks that project your personal style with confidence!
Your “run-around-town-getting-stuff-done” clothes don’t have to be fancy, by any means. Adding a pop of FUN to your wardrobe in simple ways—a cute t-shirt, a print scarf or a colorful handbag—can work wonders on a basic casual outfit. These five women have got it goin’ on…SNAP! Throw in a bit of whimsy to your everyday wardrobe, and you will stop traffic with your personal style, too!
Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 11! And, the gift of style makes the perfect gift. What does that mean? “The gift of style” is a gift certificate from C2 Style for a closet edit or a shopping excursion. You know, the kind of gift that moms usually don’t get for themselves. Many moms don’t make time for themselves–they’re busy raising their kids, some work outside the home as well–and they put themselves last on the list. Now is the time to give your mom (or yourself) the attention she (you) deserves, so that she (you) can look and feel her (your) best everyday.

Happy Mother’s Day! Be well. Dress well.
Since September, I have had the pleasure of working with my intern, Jillian, through the iQuest program at San Ramon Valley High School. She has been invaluable to me–taking photos at fashion events, helping me organize my client contact info, and guiding me through the world of social media. Recently, she accompanied me on a “fashion field trip”, and today, she is my guest blogger. So, it is my pleasure to introduce to you…Jillian Grabenstein:
